Education and Training Programs

Members Business Services offers training classes on business lending, deposit services, and sales. All the classes are designed to increase products and services knowledge, and to increase the comfort level of your staff in introducing products and services to your members.

1. Introduction to Business Services
   Designed for Branch Managers and other member contact personnel, this class will introduce them to the many business services available to members. The class will train them how to recognize and make referrals to the Commercial Business Development Officer, and how to obtain and forward a business loan application.
   


2. Commercial Loan Approval
   Designed for your lending personnel and Senior Loan Committee, this class will train participants to read a commercial credit memorandum, recognize key loan factors, performance ratios, and the cash flow analysis.
   


3. Making Sales Calls
   Designed for Branch Managers and other outside sales representatives, this course will teach participants how to make cold and warm calls to business owners. They will learn how to prospect potential clients, how to set up and conduct sales calls, and how to get the information needed to submit a complete loan request.
   


4. Introduction to SBA Lending
   Designed for lending personnel, business development officers, and branch managers, this class will introduce the popular 504 and 7(a) SBA lending programs to your staff to give them the ability to discuss these programs with your members.
   


5. Deposit Services 2
   Designed for member contact staff and sales staff, this class will give participants a greater, in-depth understanding of the deposit services available to members. Cash management products, sweep accounts, account analysis, on-line banking, item processing, Merchant Bankcard services, business check ordering, and payroll services are all described in detail to give your staff confidence in offering them to your members.
