Loan Analysis and Approval Process
The loan analysis process at Members Business Services is always appropriate to the size and risk of the loan under review. The underwriting process includes the following tasks performed by us. Not every loan will require every step.
- Initial review for completeness and suitability
- Spread financial statements and tax returns on borrower and guarantor(s)
- Order and review credit reports
- Key Ratio and cash flow analysis
- Collateral evaluation
- Appraisal ordering and review
- UCC searches and filings
- Title Reports and Flood Certifications
- Environmental Report ordering and review
- Risk Rating
- Credit Memo preparation and recommendation for approval
- Complete Loan Documentation (legal in all 50 states)
- SBA Packaging to send for approval
Post-Closing
After the loan is funded, MBS manages and monitors the credit to ensure compliance to all covenants and conditions. We will collect the appropriate financial information as needed, collect insurance policies, follow for UCC filings, and keep the file current.
