W.E. Scott Burger, President/CEO
Over 30 years in commercial lending and banking. Scott was most recently the Executive Vice President of a $2.1 billion dollar commercial bank where his responsibilities included the strategic planning and leadership of the Commercial Banking Group, Marketing Department, Cash Management Department, and SBA Lending Group. During his career at Community Bank the organization grew from $625 Million to $2.1 Billion. Scott served on the Bank’s Asset/Liability Committee, Risk Management Committee, Senior Loan Committee and Director Loan Committee. Scott obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from San Diego State University, attended the University of California Riverside Executive Management Program and the American Institute of Banking Executive Asset/Liability Management Program.
Denise Mattice, Senior Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer
30 years in commercial banking and credit unions. Denise has been the Chief Administrative Officer at Members Business Services since 2006. Prior to joining Members Business Services, LLC, she held positions including, VP Branch Manager and VP Branch Operations. During her career, her responsibilities included developing, implementing and managing sales cultures as well as managing operations at both the Branch and Regional levels. Denise has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and is a graduate of Western CUNA Management School.
Ron Johnson, Senior Vice President, Deposit Services
Over 40 years in commercial banking. Ron has experience as a Bank Operations Administrator for a $1.3 billion dollar commercial bank and has held senior management positions in Information Systems, Project Management, Systems Conversions, and Centralized Core and Item Processing. Prior to joining Members Business Services, Ron spent five years as a Senior Consultant with the Alpha Consulting Group. Ron brings extensive knowledge of policy development, training and production dynamics.
Craig Burdette, Vice President, Senior
Credit Officer-Commercial & SBA Loans Over 17 years in commercial lending, with over 10 years in processing SBA loans. Craig has also served as a Commercial Loan Analyst, Corporate Loan Officer, SBA Portfolio Banker and SBA Loan Operations Manager for small commercial banks and SBA Department Manager and Senior Credit Analyst for Members Business Services. Craig holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Finance degree from California State University at San Bernardino. Craig has been with Members Business Services since its inception in 2003.
William (Bill) Michel, Vice President, Senior
Credit Officer-Commercial Loans & Loan Participations
Over 33 years in commercial banking, including nine years in the credit union industry. Bill has held positions including Commercial Loan Center Manager, Loan Administrator, Commercial Loan Team Leader, Loan Examiner, and Business Development Officer for both large and small commercial banks. Bill has extensive knowledge of commercial lending and policy development. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. Bill is fluent in Spanish. Bill has been with Members Business Services since its inception in 2003.
Laurie Allen, Vice President, Director of Deposit Services
Over 35 years in commercial banking. Laurie has experience in all forms of Commercial Branch Operations and has held various officer positions in Branch Operations, Compliance, ATM management and a variety of back office functions.
Susan Tankersley, Deposit Coordinator
Over 35 years in banking, Susan has experience in all phases of Bank Operations and has held positions in Credit Union Services in Palm Springs area. Susan extensive knowledge of the banking industry has lent itself well to her positions of authority and training others.
Mary Barnett, Director of Ancillary Services
29 years credit union experience, Mary has worked in Branch Operations, has extensive knowledge of Credit Union Accounting, and is experienced in back office operations, including item processing, training, new systems implementation, core system conversions and Information Technology. Mary has an Associates degree form Inland Valley University School of Law, Upland, California.
Daniela Lozano, Loan Operations Supervisor
28 years in commercial banking. Daniela has served as Commercial Loan Note Supervisor, Customer Service Officer-AVP, Retail Officer, Loan Operations Supervisor, Loan Processor, Commercial Real Estate Loan Assistant, and Loan Documentation Specialist. Daniela brings extensive knowledge of loan documentation and loan procedures. Daniela has worked extensively with the Laser Pro documentation program and Bankers System’s Rembrandt, also a documentation system. Daniela attended East Los Angeles Junior College.
